The interpretation of beauty in traditional architecture profoundly reflects a civilization's cultural philosophy and natural worldview. Eastern and Western architectural aesthetics have developed distinct perspectives due to differences in cultural backgrounds, functional symbolism, spatial composition, and material technologies. In this symposium, renowned architectural scholars will illuminate architectural beauty through the perspectives of Chinese architecture's concept of “harmony between heaven and humanity”, European architecture's golden ratio principles, and Geometric language in Middle Eastern and Islamic architecture.
