Academic Attire
Graduates must wear the appropriate academic gown, hood and cap to attend the ceremony. Formal dressing with dark shoes should be worn with the academic gown.
Below is the colour code of the hood for each discipline:

No parking space will be provided. The closest parking is Cafeteria Car Park.
Precautionary Measures against COVID-19
In view of the COVID-19 development, the pandemic control measures outlined below will be in place:
I. Please refer to Appendix C for the latest implementation arrangements for the "Vaccine Pass" on campus.
II. Your body temperature will be taken at the main entrance before registration. Anyone with a temperature of 37.8C or above or with presence of respiratory symptoms will not be allowed to enter the campus.
III. Before entering the College, please use hand sanitizer to clean your hands.
IV. Participants are required to wear a mask throughout their stay on the campus.
V. Please avoid crowd gathering. It is advisable to keep a distance from others.
VI. Graduands and guests with one or more of the following conditions should refrain from attending the ceremony:
♦ are still within the compulsory quarantine period;
♦ are living with family member(s)/person(s) with COVID-19; or
♦ are still waiting for test results of COVID-19 compulsory testing on the day of the ceremony.
The above measures are subject to update based on the latest directions and requirements announced by the Centre for Health Protection and other relevant bureaux and departments of the HKSAR Government.

Graduation Ceremony
1. The 72nd Commencement will be held on 6 August 2022 (Saturday) on campus and also be streamed online
2. Schedule of the ceremony will be made available in late July via email and on the graduate webpage at https://www.chuhai.edu.hk/graduation-ceremony.
Attendance, Academic Gown and Guest Tickets
3. If you wish to attend the graduation ceremony, please confirm your attendance, guest number and gown arrangements via the link https://forms.gle/bk38w2ijBm5HHs8LA by 13 July 2022 (Wednesday).
4. Graduands attending the graduation ceremony are required to wear a full set of academic gown. Please refer to Appendix A1 for arrangements about academic gown purchase and rental. Photos of the gown are available at https://www.chuhai.edu.hk/academic-gown.
5. To avoid mass gathering during the COVID-19 pandemic, each graduand may only invite two guests to attend the ceremony. Only guests with tickets will be allowed to enter the ceremony venue.
Collection of Degree Certificates
6. The degree certificates will be available for collection from 2:30pm on the day of graduation. For details, please refer to Appendix B1.
7. Before collecting your certificate, please ensure that you have settled all outstanding fees owed to the College.

Dear Students,
With the 72nd Commencement approaching, you may order your set of academic gown from 7 to 20 June 2022.
For sizes, prices, rental, purchase and collection arrangements of the academic gown, please refer to the attached Appendix A. Please note that placing your order of academic gown between 7 and 20 June 2022 does not imply that you have fulfilled your graduation requirements.
For students who have fulfilled their graduation requirements, they will receive an invitation email to attend the ceremony on 7 July 2022. Please be mindful that students who wish to attend the graduation ceremony are required to wear a full set of academic gown.

Dear Students,
The College is pleased to announce that the 72nd Commencement will be held on 6 August 2022 (Saturday) on campus.
In view of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, stringent infection control measures are to be adopted for the wellbeing of the participants and College members. To avoid mass gathering during the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony will only be open to our graduates, their parents and members of the College. The ceremony will also be streamed online. A lecture hall will be open for the graduates’ guests to watch the live streamed ceremony.
