Architecture Department Teachers awarded Japan Good Design Award

Congratulations to Mr Kevin Siu and Mr Stanley Siu, Adjunct Assistant Professors of Department of Architecture, for obtaining The Good Design Award (グッドデザイン賞Guddo-dezain-shō) 2018! The award is organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion and has a history of over 60 years. This year, Mr Kevin Siu’s project ‘Xmas' T (RE) e Nursery’ was awarded ‘Good Design Best 100’, while Mr Stanley Siu’s project ‘Floral Pavilion, anchor pavilion of Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival 2017’ was awarded ‘Good Design Award’ out of 4789 submissions from 31 countries in total. The projects are now exhibited together with other award-winning designs in Tokyo Midtown, Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan until 4 Nov 2018.
