10-09,2026

Hong Kong Chu Hai College has long been committed to promoting research in the humanities and nurturing young scholars, encouraging academic exchange and collaboration between its staff and students and the wider local academic community. The College's Department of Chinese Literature is pleased to co-organise "The Humanities Scholar's New Voyage — The Fifth Hong Kong Young Scholars Research Forum on History and Literature," joining hands with other local institutions to provide a platform for academic exchange among young scholars in literature and history.

The Forum is organised by the Mr. Simon Suen and Mrs. Mary Suen Sino-Humanitas Institute at Hong Kong Baptist University, and co-organised by three local universities — the Department of Chinese Literature, Hong Kong Chu Hai College; the Department of Humanities, Language and Translation, Hong Kong Metropolitan University; and the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Hong Kong Shue Yan University. It will be held on Saturday, 20 February 2027, at Hong Kong Baptist University.

Since its inception in 2021, the Forum has become a major annual event for the new generation in Hong Kong's literature and history fields, recognised for its continuity and enthusiastic participation. Over the past four sessions, each Forum has attracted more than 60 young scholars from various branches of literature and history, representing universities across Hong Kong and showcasing the breadth and vitality of local young researchers.
