To kick off the spring semester, we welcomed over 80 new postgraduate students; a collaboration between our Student Affairs Office and the Police Community Relations Office in the Tuen Mun District of the Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF) has organized the "Spring Orientation x HKPF Fun Day" on 30th January 2024. The event aimed to introduce students to campus facilities and various vital departments. In addition to providing anti-deception information, the police set up booths with games to help students better understand the tactics used by fraudsters. Undoubtedly, the event's highlight was the performance by the guest performer Bailey (the German shepherd of the Police Dog Unit). The teamwork between Bailey and the handler and the various tricks performed by humans and dogs in harmony left a happy and profound impression on all the staff and students.
The students listened attentively to the Anti-Deception Talk.
Representatives from the Tuen Mun District of Hong Kong Police Force presented the Certificate of Appreciation to HKCHC, received by the Acting Associate Vice President and Acting Registrar, Dr. Eric Wong.
