The Opening Ceremony of M.Arch Graduation Show 2026 was successfully held on 24 July and public viewing is now open until 4 August 2026.

The Master of Architecture (M.Arch) Graduation Show 2026 Opening Ceremony was conducted on 24 July 2026 and officiated by distinguished guests, prize presenters, and representatives from the architecture community at the Pao Galleries, Hong Kong Arts Centre. Former Secretary for the Environment and our Honorary Professor Ar Prof KS WONG, GBS, JP, Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) Vice President Ar Allen POON, and Architects Registration Board (ARB) Registration Committee Chair Ar Jacky CHEUNG served as the Guests of Honour.

The ceremony also featured the presentation of architecture accolades. Prof. Raymond FUNG, JP presented the Professor Raymond Fung Architecture Prizes, while the Asia Young Designer Awards were conferred by Nippon Paint (HK) Ltd. with Marketing Manager Ms. Frances WONG representing the sponsor.

In recognition of their unfailing support, Department Head Dr. Stan Lai presented Certificates of Appreciation to the exhibition sponsors, including HKIA, Aedas Ltd., LWK & Partners, Nelson Chen Architects Ltd., Ronald Lu and Partners, Singular Studio Ltd., the Oval Partnership and EXOHK. The ceremony was followed by a guided tour where the M.Arch graduates presented their research and theses to the guests.

The exhibition was organized across four territories, namely, ‘RE: CONCILE’, ‘RE: GENERATE’, ‘RE: INSTATE’, and ‘RE: PURPOSE’, with the 21 design theses collectively explore how architecture research and design respond to the environmental, demographic and cultural challenges in both Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

With the opening ceremony successfully concluded, the M.Arch Graduation Show 2026 is now open for public viewing (daily 10:00am-8:00pm) until 2:00pm on 4 Aug 2026 at 4/F and 5/F of Pao Galleries of Hong Kong Arts Centre. You are cordially invited to visit the exhibition!
