On 10 and 11 September 2026, Hong Kong Chu Hai College held its Orientation 2026/27, providing freshmen with campus information, student support services, and interactive activities to help them integrate smoothly into college life.

In addition to distributing welcome gift packs to new students, Ms. Jane Zhang, President, Prof. Hon S. Chan, Vice President (Academic and Research), Mr. Chen Xinfeng, Vice President (Administration),  together with Prof. Robert Li, Associate Vice President (Academic and Research), and Mr. Xie Yilin, Registrar, personally greeted freshmen and presented them with apples as a symbol of blessing and welcome.

The orientation event brought together on-campus and external parties, featuring exhibition and service booths covering telecommunications services, banking services, publishers, and off-campus accommodation information, providing students with practical information relevant to their daily lives. Public service organizations also participated, including the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and the Hong Kong Road Safety Association, promoting important messages on integrity and road safety.

 Recruitment booths were also set up by sports teams, the Flag-Raising Team, and student organizations, introducing their activities and encouraging students to participate in extracurricular activities. The event also featured interactive game booths and themed photo-taking areas, enabling freshmen to meet new friends in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. These activities added excitement and enjoyment to the orientation, creating unforgettable memories for the new students.
