
On April 28, 2026, the "Joint Scholarship and Bursary Award Ceremony 2025/26" was held on the campus of Hong Kong Chu Hai College. Centered on the theme "Inspiring Excellence, Empowering Growth," the ceremony recognized students' outstanding achievements in academics and personal talents, while also expressing gratitude to various donors for their generous support, which enabled more students to receive encouragement and financial assistance. This academic year, a total of over HK$2 million in scholarships and bursaries was awarded across more than 100 awards, covering both undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as local and non-local students. This fully demonstrates the College's commitment to fostering diverse talents and practicing equitable educational opportunities.
At the ceremony, Professor Hon S. Chan, Vice-President (Academic and Research) of the College, extended warm congratulations to all award recipients and heartfelt thanks to the donors. He pointed out, "Education is the cornerstone of social progress, and fairness and opportunity are indispensable values of education. Behind every scholarship and bursary lies a promise for the future."
This year, additional scholarships also include faculty specific awards which allowing students to excel in their respective professional fields, such as publishing, creative arts, and internship scholarships, thereby encouraging holistic development.
The College sincerely thanks all donor organizations, award recipients, and all faculty and staff for their tremendous support and active participation, which together made this meaningful event a great success. Looking ahead, the College will continue to expand the coverage of scholarships and bursaries, optimize support mechanisms, and enable more outstanding students to engage in learning and exploration with greater peace of mind and focus, steadily advancing and bravely realizing their dreams.

Five undergraduate and postgraduate students received the “Mrs. CHOI WONG, Ling Ling Scholarship” in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements.

Two students received the “Zhang Cheng Publishing Scholarship”, presented by Professor Robert Li Kwok Yiu, Associate Vice-President (Academic and Research), for outstanding achievement in publishing professional articles in public journals.
