Programme Information

The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Communication and Crossmedia is a four-year degree programme that provides students with academic and empirical skills in crossmedia communication and production. The programme nurtures a creative generation of producers and communicators with communication knowledge, production and post-production skills of the highest standards. The students can earn professional experience through summer internship in media companies or production houses. Graduates, well equipped with creative and professional skills, are versatile in media planning and new media advancement to fulfill the growing market needs, with a specialty in video and film production, mobile network content and 3D animation.

Application Procedures

Applicant can apply the programme through JUPAS in 2021/22 academic year. The application period for 2021/22 entry will be from 7 October 2020 (9:00 am) to 9 December 2020 (11:59 pm).

Selected applicants may be invited to attend an interview. The date and time of the interview will be informed during June 2021.

The intake places of programmes under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP) are mainly allocated through the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS). Should there be unfilled intake places after all admission rounds of JUPAS, the SSSDP participating institution will admit local non-JUPAS applicants via direct admission of no more than 10% of the subsidised places of each selected programme.

Non-JUPAS local applicants may submit their online applications for any unfilled SSSDP intake places from 10:00 am, 4 September 2021 to 1:00 pm, 6 September 2021. Late application will not be considered.
