Undergraduate Programmes

Entry Requirement (one of the following)

GCE-A Level Grade E or above in 2 A-level subjects in the GCE, excluding Chinese
IB 24 points
(including 3 subjects at Higher Level and 3 at Standard Level, 12 points or above to be obtained from subjects at Higher Level), i.e. completion of IB Diploma Programme
SAT (United States)
  • High School Diploma; AND
  • A minimum score of 1190 (out of 1600) on the new SAT (from March 2016); OR
  • A minimum score of 1550 (1650) (out of 2400) on the old SAT
ACT (United States)
  • High School Diploma; AND
  • A minimum composite score of 24 on the ACT
STPM  (Malaysia)
  • Pass (Grade C or above) in at least 7 subjects at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level of which 6 subjects shall be obtained in the same sitting; AND
  • 3 subjects in Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) in the same sitting, other than language subjects
UEC (Malaysia)
  • Pass (Grade C or above) in at least 7 subjects at Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) level of which 6 subjects shall be obtained in the same sitting
GSAT (Taiwan)
  • Minimum score in each of the Mathematics, Society and Science subjects, should meet at least the average standard; AND
  • Non-standard entry could be considered in the event that the total score meets the average standard or above but one individual subject fails to meet the minimum requirement
NJCEE
  • Have met the 2nd cut-off line of the respective province for admission to key universities in Mainland China with a minimum score of 100 in English Language; OR
  • Have met the cut-off line for undergraduate studies for provinces and cities where the 1st and 2nd cut-off lines are combined with a minimum score of 100 in English Language
Other qualifications
  • Qualifications equivalent to the above.

Language Requirement

IELTS
  • A minimum overall score of 5.5
TOEFL
  • A minimum score of 79 in internet-based test or 213 in computer-based test or 550 in paper-based test
GCE/GCSE/IGCSE
  • A minimum score of 79 in internet-based test or 213 in computer-based test or 550 in paper-based test
  • Grade C or 4 or above in GCSE/IGCSE English Language
IB
  • Grade 4 or above in English Language at the Standard Level
SAT
  • A minimum score of 590 in Evidence-Based Reading and Writing ( from March 2016); OR
  • Score 8 in the old SAT Reasoning Test
SPM/STPM
  • Grade C or above in English
UEC
  • B4 or better in English
GSAT
  • Within the good standard or above

Applicants should send the following documents to the Admission Unit of the College:

  1. A completed application form duly signed by the applicant;
  2. One recent photo (photo size: 1 1/2 inch);
  3. Passport and its photocopy;
  4. School academic results and certificates, public examination results, and their photocopies;
  5. The recommendation letter from the applicant’s school (if applicable);
  6. A non-refundable application fee HK$500 (Bank Draft).
