Efforts get recognized in Xiamen University Film Festival

The 2018 annual short film “負親 – Apologies to Parents” produced by the students on the BA (Hons.) in Communication and Crossmedia Progamme (JCC) was shortlisted for screening in the “Sixth Cross-Strait College Students’ Film Festival & Graduation Film Festival in the Phoenix Flower Season” held between 24th and 26th May, 2019 by Xiamen University in China. 49 universities this time took part in the film festival with a total submission of 218 short films produced by respective college students, the JCC’s “負親–Apologies to Parents” was among the 36 screened films in the festival, being the one and only shortlisted film by Hong Kong college students.

 

“Apologies to Parents” is the only Hong Kong college students’ film shortlisted for the Xiamen University Film Festival 2019.

The “Sixth Cross-Strait College Students’ Film Festival & Graduation Film Festival in the Phoenix Flower Season” held by Xiamen University is co-organized by its Faculty of Journalism and Communication, v.people.cn, and etc. The film festival is open to all universities and colleges in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao.
