Mr Clifford A. Hart Jr, U.S. Consul General, delivered a lecture at the School Hall on 24 February 2016 to more than 120 students and staff.

Consul General Clifford A. Hart Jr. has been posted to Hong Kong since July 30, 2013 and is responsible for the Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions. His most recent appointment was as the Special Envoy for the Six-Party Talks, for which President Obama accorded him the personal rank of Ambassador.  Over his 30-year diplomatic career, Ambassador Hart's overseas experience includes three assignments to China and one each in the Soviet Union and Iraq. He has also pursued Chinese language training in Taiwan. Ambassador Hart's Washington assignments include positions at the White House, the Pentagon, and the State Department.
