Visit to Malaysia, Equator Academy of Arts and Unversiti Sains Malaysia

 

Faculty members of the Department of Architecture visited Penang and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 1st to 4th April 2005. The visit was part of the International Visiting Programme for the promotion of teaching quality, staff development and international academic exchange.

The faculty members visited various interesting architecture and landmarks in Malaysia from guesthouse rebuilt by recycled material to Menara Mesiniaga at Subang Jaya designed by Dr. Ken Yeang followed by academic visits to Equator Academy of Art and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). The faculty members also had the chance to meet with Dr. Ken Yeang at his office T. R. Hamzah & Yeang Sdn Bhd.
