Establishing Academic Links with Dankook University, Korea

In order to expand the College's global vision in the regional
areas and provide education to students with a broad mindset and
the appreciation of different cultures, the College plans to develop
closer links and ties with regional universities. In addition to
universities in China, Taiwan, Australia and the USA, the College
recently established academic links and cooperation with Korea,
which recently represents the success both in cultural appreciation
and technological innovations. The College is pleased to announce
the cooperation plans between Chu Hai and Dankook University of
Korea.
Dankook and Chu Hai were both established after the War, with missions
to rebuild the countries through providing quality education to
young talents. Senior officials of our College and Dankook University
met at Seoul to establish links in academic cooperation, the areas
discussed included:
- Exchange of faculty members,
- Student exchange,
- Scholarly exchange including joint research and seminar participation,
and
- Publication of Chinese/Korean teaching materials.
The senior staff of two institution are very pleased to start and
maintain a long-term relationship in academic exchanges to bring
together the two cultures of good cross-cultural relationship in
the neighbouring regions of Asia.
