Building a Bridge for a Village in China, "A Bridge Too
Far" Project
"A Bridge Too Far" is a charitable project serves
as a means to help the children in a village in China by building
a safe and durable bridge. On the other hand, it provides an opportunity
for students, professionals and people in metropolitan like Hong
Kong to experience life in the village and to build a bridge with
bare hands and simple tools.
Mr Patrick Luk (HKIA), a faculty member of Chu Hai Department of
Architecture participated in the project 'A Bridge Too Far' which
was jointly organised by various higher education institutions including
the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University,
the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Xian Jiaotong
University and Professional Green Building Council.
