Seminar on Numerical Prediction of the Sea's Motion

The IAHR-HK co-organized a technical seminar with the Hong Kong Observatory and the HKIE on 16 December 2006 at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The aim of the seminar was to draw attention to the dangers of the sea and introduce various modeling tools for the sea motion prediction under different forcing mechanisms. The Department Head, Dr. K. L. Pun, and the civil engineering students joined the seminar and Dr. Pun was the moderator of the seminar.
