Dr. LEUNG Hau-Yan, Brian, BEng (HKU), PhD (Cambridge)

Dr. Leung received
B.Eng.(Civil) from the University of Hong Kong in 1995 and Ph.D.
from the University of Cambridge, UK in early 2001. Brian has been
working as a Research Assistant/Instructor/Lecturer at the City
University of Hong Kong since 2000. In 2003, he joined the Department
of Civil Engineering of Chu Hai College as an assistant professor.
He is actively involved in research projects in the areas of reinforced
concrete and prestressed concrete structures, new materials in construction
such as fibre-reinforced polymer. His research focuses also include
study of concrete materials, e.g. properties of self-compacting
concrete.
