Professional Recognitions

There are a number of professional bodies offering student membership to our students. Through participating in various professional activities, students can build up their confidence, professional connections and networks in the business community. The graduates of our Faculty of Commerce are also eligible for becoming members of some professional bodies. The College has gaineed recognition from professional bodies which include:

• The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB).
  
• Pre-approval status for exemptions from the following modules offered by the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK) with corresponding subjects in the BBA (Hons) in Finance curriculum. (Module 1, 3 and 4).
• Exemptions from the Hong Kong Securities Institute (HKSI) Professional Diploma in Financial Markets (PDFM) Module 1, 2 and 3.

Furthermore, the curriculum also prepares students for the following professional examinations:

• Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries (LE) as organised by the Hong Kong Securities Institute.
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Examination.
