issues underlying Journalism. To introduce the foundation of Journalism

for Communication 1 term, 3 credits
The course is to introduce essential aspects of western and oriental etiquette
and taboo in social life and formal occasion, through which students learn
how to appreciate social custom and conform to social behavior in different
cultural contexts. Through practice and a solid understanding, they build
up a better self-image and establish a professional and public image that
can enhance interpersonal communication and mutual trust. Having completed
the course, students should have an understanding of the international
decorous behavior. They would be equipped with techniques for developing
professional and public image through learning and practising the followings:
Personal behavior with decorum; Concepts of international protocol and
