Programme Structure
In view of the multiple-entry aspect, the programme offers two modes for students with different entry qualifications. Secondary 5 graduates with minimum admissions requirements are eligible to apply for admissions to the three-year programme (Mode A) while Secondary 7 graduates with minimum requirements are eligible to apply for admissions to the two-year programme (Mode B).
The programme is designed to develop students' potentials and academic capacities by providing courses in seven categories:

  • General education
  • Business studies
  • Computer science core
  • Software development
  • Internet systems
  • Network and system administration
  • Industrial experience.

Programme Mode A
In the first year, the students study most of the general education and business-related courses. These provide a solid foundation for the students to continue with their studies in the following years. Foundation courses act as a bridge between the first year studies and the second year studies.
In the second year, the students learn most of the core practical knowledge of computer science in software development courses, network-related courses and administration and management courses.
In the first term of the third year, the students gain more advanced knowledge as a preparation to work in a real business environment. In the second term of the third year, the students are placed in a company arranged by the College to gain the experience in a real situation.

Programme Mode B
