Chu Hai College of Higher Education, Hong Kong

The name of the College literally means Pearl-Sea in Chinese, denoting both the original location of the College on the banks of Chu (Pearl) River, and the ideal of the College which urges its students to be as pure as pearl (Chu) and to pursue knowledge which is as deep as the sea. The College maintaining its high aspiration of education commitment to the society of Hong Kong, with the advantages of its 60 years inheritance of quality education excellence, is established and registered as an Approved Post Secondary College under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance

With the excellence of its 4-year tertiary education system in Hong Kong, the College expects its students not only excel in their professions but also possess virtues and broad knowledge base with confidence to cope with our ever-challenging world.

The mission of the Faculty is to provide a broad education in arts and humanities as well as training in a particular academic specialty.
